Power Passages! (part 10 of 11)

To POWER appliances and other things requiring an energy source we must have them plugged into an adequate POWER supply. You could not start your car with a AAA battery. Nor could you POWER a refrigerator with a nine volt battery. God, the Creator of life, offers the POWER adequate to sustain it.

Peter encouraged with these words:
"(3) HIS DIVINE POWER HAS GRANTED TO US ALL THINGS THAT PERTAIN TO LIFE AND GODLINESS, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, (4) by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them YOU MAY BECOME PARTAKERS OF THE DIVINE NATURE, HAVING ESCAPED FROM THE CORRUPTION THAT IS IN THE WORLD BECAUSE OF SINFUL DESIRE." ( 2 Peter 1:3-4 ESV)

Life in its fullness and godliness in its depth of character comes by DIVINE POWER which provides all that is necessary to sustain them. It is this POWER which brings the renewal of God's Divine nature into our being and provides the escape from the corrupt tendencies of this world.

May we praise God for His every provision (physical and spiritual) and trust in the adequacy of His DIVINE POWER!
