Power Passages! (part 5 of 11)

With all the activities in which we get involved it is often easy to feel overwhelmed. Sometimes we have to realize we may have bitten off more than we can chew. We may also realize the need to say no to even good things because we can begin to spread ourselves too thin. However, it is important for us to have our priorities right so that we make these decisions wisely. Nevertheless, even with the best planning there are times things come up that must be dealt with whether we feel we have the time or the strength to do so or not. It is through those times I am thankful it is not my own resources on which I have to depend.

Paul said it so well in these words:
"I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH HIM WHO STRENGTHENS ME." ( Philippians 4:13 ESV)

No wonder Paul was able to keep on keeping on. He was connected to the proper POWER source. And he encouraged us to do the same.

"Finally, BE STRONG IN THE LORD AND IN THE STRENGTH OF HIS MIGHT." ( Ephesians 6:10 ESV)

May we remain connected to that sustaining POWER.
