Freshening The Air!

Air fresheners are wonderful at covering up or masking strong odors. Some even have the ability to kill the germs causing the foul smell. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a freshener to deal with the situations when ATTITUDES STINK? Some people just put on an "air" that can stink up a whole room or workplace. Bad ATTITUDES can quickly spoil that which might otherwise be sweet. People in a good mood can have that atmosphere quickly spoiled just by one person with a bad ATTITUDE.

Solomon noted. . .
"Dead flies make the perfumer's ointment give off a stench; so a little folly outweighs wisdom and honor." ( Ecclesiastes 10:1 ESV)

How we approach life situations as we interact with others can make a world of difference one way or the other. We can either help make things smell foul or sweet and that often begins with our own ATTITUDE. Have we at times been the "dead fly" that has made the ointment stink? Let us seek to bring not death, but rather life and refreshment to life's situations.

Perhaps people with "stink'n think'n" ought to tape an air freshener to their forehead as a reminder to not spreading the stench! May we leave "stink'n think'n" behind as we strive to be mindful of walking in love as Jesus did, giving Himself as a "FRAGRANT OFFERING." ( Ephesians 5:2) The "aroma of Christ" ( 2 Corinthians 2:15) is the best and most beneficial scent we can spread in life.
