"Can Anything Good Come From There?"

[07/01/2011 "teEn-MAIL"]
[NOTE: This hymn was written while I was preaching a series of lessons from the Gospel of John]

"CAN ANYTHING GOOD COME FROM THERE?"
(Carl Hanson, September 14, 1988)
[ John 1:36; Eph. 3:20]

There in Galilee's a town; Nazareth, of no renown.
And a question one did dare: "Can Anything Good Come From There?"

(CHORUS)
God is able -- God is able -- Oh immeasurably more He can do
Than all we may ask or imagine. Let His power work in you.

On a cruel cross of shame, Was it for this that He came?
Oh, the pain that He did bear. "Can Anything Good Come From There?"

(chorus)

There's a life for whom Christ died; It's been washed and sanctified.
Will it stand for Him anywhere? "Can Anything Good Come From There?"

(chorus)

Is your heart seeking His will? Is your faith a fire still?
Is it in unceasing prayer? "Can Anything Good Come From There?"

(chorus)

In your walk do others see Jesus' life and purity?
Do they see it's Christ you wear? "Can Anything Good Come From There?"

(chorus)
