The Lamb Of God!

THE LAMB OF GOD

[ John 1:29; 1 Cor. 5:7; Heb. 10:10; Heb. 12:2; 1 Pet. 1:18-19; Rev. 7:14]

John was sent to prepare the hearts of men
For the coming of the Lord into the world.
When he saw Him he said, "Look, the Lamb of God
Who takes away the sin of the world."

(CHORUS)
As the author and perfecter of our faith,
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus
Who for the joy set before Him
Endured the cross for us.

Through the giving of His body once for all
We're made holy by God's giving of the Lamb.
God supplied the Lamb unblemished in His love
That in confidence, at Judgment, we could stand.

Christ the Passover Lamb has been giv'n
And His blood cleanses us from ev'ry sin.
In His blood our robes are washed and are made white
And someday, that Heav'n'ly Home, we'll enter in.
