Perfect!

Several weeks ago, while listening to the radio, the reference was made to a small child's conversation with her mother. The mother had been busy working around the house and she wanted the children to find something to do. Her young daughter responded, "But we want to have PERFECT FUN." When the mother asked what "perfect fun" was, her daughter responded, "PERFECT FUN is when YOU play with us."

We may find fun and joy in a lot of activities in this life, but are we beginning to find the MOST SATISFYING things are those associated WITH GOD and service in His Name? As this child saw "PERFECT FUN" in activities associated with her mother, do we see "PERFECT SATISFACTION" in living all of life associated WITH GOD?

Jesus encouraged the disciples with the peace associated WITH HIM where we read. . .
"(27) Peace I leave with you; MY PEACE I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid." ( John 14:27 ESV)

Through our relationship with God we can have a peace that brings more satisfaction than any the world may offer.

In Isaiah we read. . .
"(3) YOU KEEP HIM IN PERFECT PEACE WHOSE MIND IS STAYED ON YOU, because HE TRUSTS IN YOU. (4) Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD God is an everlasting rock." ( Isaiah 26:3-4 ESV)

May our life and mind remain with God so that we can continue experiencing the PERFECT SATISFACTION, JOY, and PEACE only life with Him can provide.
