New Every Morning!

Some things wear out. Other things get used up. However, some of the greatest things are replenished with each morning our Lord provides.

Perhaps there are times we find ourselves depressed over situations. We may even struggle with forgiving ourselves for past mistakes. Through those times we may wonder how we could be looked upon with love by God. Nevertheless, He does loves us and desires to continue to help move us onward and upward through our walk here. As we continue to turn from sin and walk more in line with God's will, may we keep calling to mind His promises and accept the certainty of the hope He provides.

This is exactly what the prophet Jeremiah did as he considered the sinfulness of Israel and even his own short comings. Then he remembered what we also ought to remember. . .

"(21) But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: (22) The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; HIS MERCIES never come to an end; (23) THEY ARE NEW EVERY MORNING; great is your faithfulness. (24) 'The LORD is my portion,' says my soul, 'therefore I will hope in him.'" ( Lamentations 3:21-24 ESV)

God's faithfulness can always be counted on. Keep trusting Him. Keep accepting His forgiveness. Keep giving your life more and more over to Him. It is safe in His care!
