Talk To The One You Love!
It is interesting how many people seem to forget God all day, yet ask Him to remember them a night. What kind of relationship is that? I know my wife would not appreciate it if that was my view of our relationship. As God is mindful of us through the day, should we not also be mindful of Him? Do we only need the relationship at night?
David wrote. . .
"(16) But I call to God, and the LORD will save me. (17) EVENING and MORNING and at NOON I utter my complaint and moan, and HE HEARS MY VOICE." ( Psalm 55:16-17 ESV)
Paul urged. . .
"(17) PRAY WITHOUT CEASING," ( 1 Thessalonians 5:17 ESV)
Between these two passages we can note it is good to have some set times for prayer, but it is also good to maintain a spirit of prayer throughout the day. PRAYER IS NOT LIMITED TO SPACE AND TIME. We can and should pray anywhere and at any time. It is one of the few means of communication anymore without technical difficulties. Our God hears!
Have a great day TALKING TO THE ONE YOU LOVE!
