SO GOOD!

Someone has said, "Only GOD can turn a MESS into a MESSage, a TEST into a TESTimony, a TRIal into a TRIumph, a VICTim into a VICTory. GOD is GOOD . . . all the time!" [shared by a friend on Facebook®]

This immediately made me think of Paul's statement in his letter to the church at Rome where we read. . .

"(28) And we know that for those who love God ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD, for those who are called according to HIS PURPOSE." ( Romans 8:28 ESV)

Truly our GOD is GOOD! Yes, we experience some things in life that are not good, but GOD REMAINS GOD and He is truly GOOD! Though we don't always see how it will be possible for Him to work some things out, in faith we can trust Him to do so in His Time and in His Way. As we ENTRUST OUR LIVES to the Sovereign hand of God, all the varied experiences of life will work to cause us to keep praying and trusting Him even when we don't know what it is for which we ought to pray. ( Romans 8:26-27) Praise God for the Spirit's help! Maintaining our TRUST IN GOD, life's experiences can also serve to continue moving us toward becoming more and more like His Son ( Romans 8:29) and to the greater glory He gives and is moving us into as we stand justified in Christ. ( Romans 8:30)

Praise God for His mindfulness of everything we experience in life. Nothing goes without His notice. He is fully able to get us from where we are and through what we are experiencing to where He ultimately wants us. May we TRUST HIM for THE GOOD He will bring about in this realm and even more so in the eternal life to come.
