Heritage!

At a fancy tea there were two fashionable and proper, high society ladies discussing their respective ancestries. The first woman boasted of her heritage going back to the days of William the Conqueror. Then with an air of superiority she asked the other woman how far her family went back. "I really don't know," the second woman responded. "You see, our family records were lost in the flood.?

Heritage! As God's children we have a rich one.

The Psalmist wrote. . .
"(5) For you, O God, have heard my vows; you have GIVEN ME THE HERITAGE OF THOSE WHO FEAR YOUR NAME." ( Psalm 61:5 ESV)

Imagine all the great men and women of God with whom He has provided the means of us sharing in the heritage. What an ancestry! What a family! And what a reunion of which we will someday be able to be a part. And, yes, our family records do go back before the flood.

Have a great day KEEPING UP THE FAMILY NAME!
Carl
