Everyone Everywhere!

Not all things in life relate to all people. Life is as multifaceted as people vary in characteristics. However, there are some things which do RELATE TO ALL no matter gender, race, social status, or geographic location. Among these are the basic needs of food, clothing, and shelter. It seems that just about every culture and society focuses on trying to see that such needs are met as much as possible. God is well aware of these needs (i.e. Matthew 6:31-32), but He wants us to remember the spiritual side of life as well. ( Matthew 6:33) Realities associated with eternity dare not be neglected!

In speaking of Jesus in his letter to the church at Philippi Paul declared. . .

"(9) Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the NAME that is ABOVE EVERY NAME, (10) so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE should bow, IN HEAVEN and ON EARTH and UNDER THE EARTH, (11) and EVERY TONGUE confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." ( Philippians 2:9-11 ESV)

Who is not included in this realization? It doesn't matter what sphere -- in Heaven, on earth, or under the earth -- the Supremacy of Jesus will ultimately be acknowledged. As now EVERY KNEE should bow and EVERY TONGUE should confess the Lordship of Jesus, a time is coming when ALL WILL be faced with the fullness of that truth!

Jesus came, revealing Himself as our means of salvation. ( John 14:6; Acts 4:12) Now is the time ( 2 Corinthians 6:2) to acknowledge that before His judgment comes and condemnation is received. Let us help others recognize the need for that acknowledgement now because it is a reality which ALL WILL ultimately face! May we praise God for the sufficiency of salvation provided in Jesus!
