Profitable Training! (part 10 of 14)

Physical exercise is good therapy. It is a great STRESS BUSTER. Sometimes we need to break away from things and just do something physical. Walk off the frustration. Work off some steam. A little exercise can help change our disposition and whole outlook.

Training in godliness also works as a STRESS BUSTER. Through a focus of faith we should dispel worry. When we get steamed we should remember what counts most. The reading of Scripture and refocusing can have a great calming affect.

Paul exhorted. . .
"(6) DO NOT BE ANXIOUS ABOUT ANYTHING, but in everything BY PRAYER AND SUPPLICATION with thanksgiving let your requests be made known TO GOD. (7) And THE PEACE OF GOD, which surpasses all understanding, WILL GUARD YOUR HEARTS AND YOUR MINDS IN CHRIST JESUS." ( Philippians 4:6-7 ESV)

Yes, godliness is great therapy. Our God knows what He is doing!
