Sign Of Life!

Breathe in. Breath out. Such is a sign the body is still alive. As long as we are "sucking air" (as some say, acknowledging they are still among the living), that is a good thing. When someone is seen unconscious, the first thing often checked is to see if they are breathing. Air taken into the lungs brings oxygen into the blood system which is carried through the body and then exhaled so another breath can be taken. However, what comes forth from the life of some is a lot of hot air. Others breathe out threats. Is there any kind of resolve associated with our breathing in and what comes forth from our life?

As Job was accused by his friends of great sinfulness being the reason for his circumstances, he hung onto his INTEGRITY in the midst of great loss and personal suffering stating. . .
"(3) AS LONG AS MY BREATH IS IN ME, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils, (4) MY LIPS WILL NOT SPEAK FALSEHOOD, and my tongue WILL NOT UTTER DECEIT." ( Job 27:3-4 ESV)

What a marvelous RESOLVE in approaching life! For us to have that same kind of RESOLVE OF INTEGRITY in life would be a sign of the life God desires us to live. Since in God there is nothing false (note Titus 1:2 and Hebrews 6:18), so it should also be with us as His children. As we breathe in God's good air and live sustained with the "spirit of God" in our nostrils, let us breathe out words and actions that glorify God and benefit those around us. May our daily RESOLVE be that of INTEGRITY in all we do and say.
