The IN Crowd! (part 2 of 10)

Is the crowd in which we desire to be a part productive? Is this "in crowd" merely a place to hang or a place for growth and accomplishment?

Jesus exhorted regarding the place to be!
"(4) ABIDE IN ME, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, UNLESS IT ABIDES IN the vine, neither can you, unless you ABIDE IN ME. (5) I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever ABIDES IN ME and I in him, he it is that BEARS MUCH FRUIT, for apart from me you can do nothing. (6) If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned." ( John 15:4-6 ESV)

IN HIM is the place for FRUITFUL LIVING. However, we must realize that is the place where we must remain in order for this to take place. It's not to be a sporadic relationship. Jesus wants us to understand He desires to have a continual connection with us. He wants to cause much fruit to be produced in our life. For this to happen we MUST ABIDE (or REMAIN) IN HIM.

IN HIM is the place to be. Let it continue to be so!
