Wise Walkers!

Who we walk with can impact what we do along the way, where we go, and what our pace might be. With whom we walk may also determine on what our conversation or thoughts will be focused. The CHOICES of associations we make today can even be an indicator of future things. How much consideration do we give those CHOICES?

Solomon in his great wisdom advised. . .
"(20) Whoever WALKS WITH THE WISE BECOMES WISE, but the COMPANION OF FOOLS WILL SUFFER HARM." ( Proverbs 13:20 ESV)

And Paul warned. . .
"(33) Do not be deceived: 'BAD COMPANY RUINS GOOD MORALS.'" ( 1 Corinthians 15:33 ESV)

Both Solomon and Paul indicated the potential of becoming like those with whom we CHOOSE to associate in life. Who we CHOOSE to spend the most time with stand to have the greatest influence in our life. Are we walking with God? ( Genesis 5:24) Are we walking with the Lord Jesus Christ? ( Colossians 2:6) Are we keeping in step with the Spirit? ( Galatians 5:25) Are we CHOOSING to walk with those of like spirit? (note Philippians 3:17)

In Paul's letter to the church at Ephesus he urged. . .
"(15) LOOK CAREFULLY THEN HOW YOU WALK, not as unwise but AS WISE, (16) making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. (17) Therefore do not be foolish, but UNDERSTAND WHAT THE WILL OF THE LORD IS." ( Ephesians 5:15-17 ESV)

May we CHOOSE WISELY, recognizing our eternal destiny hangs in the balance.

Have a great day CHOOSING LIFE COMPANIONS CAREFULLY!
