Viewed From Above!

With the use of aircraft (planes and helicopters) law enforcement is able to track speeders or criminals running from the law. Even in the dark of night and thinking they have successfully hidden themselves under bushes, with the use of night-vision goggles and other technology, police are able to see and direct officers on the ground to where a suspect is hiding. It has been interesting to see such footage aired on television. Many involved in criminal activity have found they cannot hide from the "eye in the sky".

News is also sometimes reported from the air as a news crew hovers overhead, zooming in with a high powered lens for bringing action on the ground into close view; fires, accidents, bomb investigations, standoffs, etc. Then even higher up, the military and scientists are able to use satellite technology to view areas for either surveillance purposes or to show how the extent of large fires or other catastrophic events can be seen from outer space.

Still, even higher yet the vision is clear as Solomon stated. . .
"The EYES OF THE LORD ARE IN EVERY PLACE, keeping watch ON THE EVIL AND THE GOOD." ( Proverbs 15:3 ESV)

It matters not where one is or what they are doing, it is not hidden from the "eyes of the Lord." The "evil" should wake up to that reality while the "good" should find comfort in it.

David acknowledged God's view where he wrote. . .
"(11) If I say, 'Surely the darkness shall cover me, and the light about me be night,' (12) EVEN THE DARKNESS IS NOT DARK TO YOU; the night is bright as the day, for darkness is as light with you." ( Psalm 139:11-12 ESV)

As David was expressing these words, he was not seeking to hide from God. Reading this chapter we see how comforted and encouraged he was to know his life was ALWAYS IN GOD'S VIEW. It mattered not where he was -- in the deepest deep or on the highest height or time of day or night -- GOD'S LOVING WATCHFUL EYE was on David's life.

For some, they are in serious need of coming to grips with the fact God is watching, that they hide nothing from Him, and will someday be called to account for their choices in life. However, hopefully the rest of us find comfort in living under GOD'S LOVING WATCHFUL EYE. He is mindful of each one of us individually. God is fully aware of the life challenges we face and desires us to continue looking to Him for the guidance and support we need. Like David may we rejoice in the blessing of living under His view.

Have a great day APPRECIATING OUR HEAVENLY FATHER'S OBSERVATION!
