Taking Sides!

Sometimes we are amazed at whose side some people will take. When we have been wronged our expectation is that people would clearly see our side and acknowledge the unfairness. However, that is not always the case. What about our own perspective on behalf of others? Have we ever looked around to see which side others were going to take before we made our choice or revealed where we stood? Do we always side with what is right or do we sometimes side with those who we like or with whom we are in close friendship?

Solomon stated. . .
"He who JUSTIFIES THE WICKED and he who CONDEMNS THE RIGHTEOUS are both alike AN ABOMINATION TO THE LORD." ( Proverbs 17:15 ESV)

We live in a wishy-washy world. People too often waffle between supporting what is right and rationalizing or making excuses for the wrong. We need to learn to SEE AS GOD SEES; striving to see things God way. His standard is consistent and we are safe when we SIDE WITH GOD. That is always the side of righteousness.
