The Heart Of The Matter! (part 3 of 8)

"Don't leave, I'll be right back," she says as she gets up from the table. "Wild horses couldn't drag me away," he responds affectionately.

No, I'm not attempting to write a romance novel, but do you get the picture? Have you heard such expressions? Think of the power of a love which DESIRES NO SEPARATION. Has our heart focused to that extent?

Solomon advised:
"(3) Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; WRITE THEM ON THE TABLET OF YOUR HEART. (4) So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man." ( Proverbs 3:3-4 ESV)

It is not the things written on stone that endure. Those stones will someday crumble away. The heart is the place for that which is to be PERMANENTLY INSCRIBED. May the love and faithfulness to God be written on that tablet. God delights to read it there.
