Pull Back The Curtain!

The sun can be shining brightly while some still remain in a darkened room. When a ray of light slips through a space between the window curtains, a little bit of what is in the room can be seen for what it is. The MORE LIGHT allowed to come into the room the more the eye will be able to see. The change is not in the power of the sun to shine, however. The change comes through allowing MORE OF ITS LIGHT to come in.

Jesus said. . .
"(34) Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is full of light, but when it is bad, your body is full of darkness. (35) Therefore be careful lest the light in you be darkness. (36) IF THEN YOUR WHOLE BODY IS FULL OF LIGHT, having no part dark, IT WILL BE WHOLLY BRIGHT, as when a lamp with its rays gives you light." ( Luke 11:34-36 ESV)

The more we open up to THE SON, the more we will be able to see as we ought. Paul referred to some who were hardened because a veil remained over their hearts; a veil that in Christ could be removed so as to behold the glory of the Lord. ( 2 Corinthians 3:14-18) Is our life open for maximum exposure to the light of THE SON?

As "THE TRUE LIGHT ( John 1:9), THE SON has the power to illuminate every nook and cranny within our life and that for our greatest benefit. May we keep our life inline with THE SON to receive His Light as we continually open our hearts and minds MORE AND MORE to the illumination of His Divine Will.
