Defying Geography

Geography can separate through various means: mountains, gorges, rivers, oceans, and continents. These separations are overcome by highways, bridges, boats and planes. Still there are the elements of weather that may temporarily disrupt and delay these means of connection (works of hands) from taking place. However, God has provided a gift of His Creation that can defy geography in spite of the weather or other factors.

In Paul's first letter to the church at Thessalonica we read. . .
"(17) But since WE WERE TORN AWAY FROM YOU, brothers, for a short time, IN PERSON NOT IN HEART, we endeavored the more eagerly and with great desire to see you face to face, (18) because we wanted to come to you -- I, Paul, again and again -- but Satan hindered us." ( 1 Thessalonians 2:17-18 ESV)

Paul had a longing for his brethren at Thessalonica. He had a great desire to be physically among them. Even Satan had hindered their coming together face to face. However, Paul mentioned in spite of having been torn away from them, there was a HEART-TO-HEART connection that remained strong!

Though geography may grieve longing HEARTS, it does not disconnect loving HEARTS. I am thrilled by some of the HEART CONNECTIONS "teEn-MAIL" has brought me into though many of these individuals I may never see face to face this side of Heaven. Christians connected to each other by the blood of Jesus and being guided by Him as His "one body" ( Rom. 12:5; 1 Cor. 12:13; Eph. 2:16; Eph. 4:4; Col. 3:15) throughout the world can enjoy a oneness even though mountains, oceans and continents may separate us in the flesh. Praise God for His power in drawing HEARTS together in a bond that circles this globe and even encompasses Heaven itself.

Have a great day ENJOYING THE CONNECTION LIFE IN CHRIST PROVIDES!
Carl
