Worthy Conversation!

There are things we may not be able to get off our mind, some of which we might wish we could while others we love to dwell upon. Some of these thoughts can be so significant that no matter what else we are doing we just cannot stop thinking of them. Hopefully thoughts of our Lord fall into that category.

The psalmist declared. . .
“MY MOUTH IS FILLED with your praise, and with your glory ALL THE DAY.” ( Psalm 71:8 ESV)

And. . .

“MY MOUTH WILL TELL of your righteous acts, of your deeds of salvation ALL THE DAY, for their number is past my knowledge.” ( Psalm 71:15 ESV)

Perhaps we know people who never seem lacking in having something to say. Days are filled with many conversations. Even those who have nothing to say insist on saying it anyway. The psalmist here seems to have implied a focus on the praise, glory, righteous acts, and deeds of salvation associated with God being so numerous they could easily FILL THE DAY with worthy conversation.

Our acknowledgement of God’s glory and our great sense of appreciation for all His blessings are not expressed only through an inability to get it all off our mind, but also for it to ALWAYS BE ON OUR LIPS! May we be mindful of the opportunities that arise to introduce the things relating to God in our EVERYDAY conversations. The more we appreciate and love what He has done and also holds in store for us, the easier that will be.

Have a great day GIVING OTHERS SOMETHING WORTHY OF CONSIDERATION!
