A Productive Life!

Sometimes I refer to my walks as therapy because of the positive impact they have on my body and mind. Other walks are simply for the purpose of getting me from one place to another, but still with the positive aspect of saving money on gas by not driving the car. However, things can happen ALONG THE WAY such as the opportunity to make a connection with other people and even offer to do something for them.

In Paul’s letter to the church at Colossae, he wrote. . .
“(9) And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, (10) SO AS TO WALK IN A MANNER WORTHY OF THE LORD, fully pleasing to him, BEARING FRUIT IN EVERY GOOD WORK and increasing in the knowledge of God.” ( Colossians 1:9-10 ESV)

A walk that is worthy of the Lord -- that reveals an appreciation and thankfulness for the relationship He has made possible and all the blessings that are associated with it -- is not one merely marked by a meandering through life. It is not a walk that has no purpose. Rather, to walk in a worthy manner is an intentional walk, with a definite destination in mind, and an acknowledgment and acceptance of the opportunities to do God’s Will ALL ALONG THE WAY!

We are to be working as we walk. We should be giving as we go. We ought to continue ministering as we move on through the journey of life in this realm. Such is the walk that will bear fruit for the Lord. May we daily be mindful of this being the manner of our life walk.

Have a great day DOING GOOD ON THE GO!
Carl
