"My Other House Is A ...!"

There are a lot of interesting bumper stickers people display on their vehicles these days. Some of them I can’t believe are allowed. Others are printed so small you have to drive dangerously close to read them. However, many are really cute, funny, or make a wonderful point. One of the popular ones is: “My Other Car Is A Porsche!” Some have substituted other vehicles which were apparently desired. I even saw one that stated “My Other Vehicle Is A Broom!”

You may often think of things you would love to have displayed on your car, but how about this one: “My Other House Is A Mansion!”

Jesus encouraged His disciples with these words:
“(1) ‘Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. (2) IN MY FATHER’S HOUSE ARE MANY ROOMS. If it were not so, would I have told you that I GO TO PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU? (3) And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, THAT WHERE I AM YOU MAY BE ALSO. (4) And you know the way to where I am going.’” ( John 14:1-4 ESV)

Yes, that’s the bumper sticker I want. I’ll put up with my modest dwelling for now because I know I’ve got something marvelous waiting for me in eternal glory!
