Chaos!

A surgeon, an architect and a politician were arguing about who’s profession was the oldest.
“Eve was made from the rib of Adam,” said the surgeon. “That was surgery.”
“Maybe,” said the architect, but before that, order was created from chaos, and that was an architectural job.”
“But wait,” said the politician knowingly. “Who do you think created all that chaos?”

What a marvelous God we worship, Who had (and has) the power to make something out of nothing. God has given us life and a beautiful creation in which to live. From chaos He brought it all about, yet at times it seems that mankind is trying to throw it back into chaos. However, the God of all creation still has the POWER today TO TRANSFORM the chaos of one’s life into a life with meaning, purpose, and blessing. In fact, God has the power to ultimately TRANSFORM us into something beyond our imagination.

To the church in Philippi, Paul wrote:
“(20) But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, (21) who WILL TRANSFORM OUR LOWLY BODY TO BE LIKE HIS GLORIOUS BODY, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.” ( Philippians 3:20-21 ESV)

I don’t know exactly what that will be like, but just like God said with each part of Creation in Genesis 1 -- IT WILL BE GOOD!
