What We "B"!

It is important for us to consider what we “B” because of the impact and impression our life will leave with others. Someone has expressed, “A Christian may be a blot or a blessing; a blank he cannot be.”

The only way to be a “B”lank is for us to not exist, but because we do exist, is our life a “B”lot or a “B”lessing? Perhaps some would ask if there were not some area in between where their life is found, but Jesus indicated no middle ground when He stated the following.

We read…
“Whoever is not WITH ME is AGAINST ME, and whoever does not GATHER with me SCATTERS.” ( Matthew 12:30 ESV)

The context of Jesus’ statement was with reference to His works being either by the power of God or by the power of Beelzebul. ( Matthew 12:25-28) Jesus’ words implied there were only two choices; no middle ground. In our own focus on Him is it also not true there are only two choices? Either we are following His Will or the will of the world which is under the power of “the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience.” ( Ephesians 2:2 ESV) What do our actions and words declare us to “B”? With or against Him? Gathering or scattering? Which decision does our life reveal?

As God views our life will it be seen as a “B”lot or a “B”lessing? If we “B” seen as a “B”lessing, then our life will “B” a “B”lessing to others and to ourselves as well in our steadfast allegiance to Jesus and His Will. May it truly continue to “B” so!
