Precious!

Many can get precious stones and gold and silver. These can then be either stored away or used to adorn themselves. Earrings, necklaces, gold watches, pendants, rings, etc. can be sported by both the good and the bad. Such may impress some who will welcome the possessor into their circle of acquaintances. These things can become symbols of status in society. And the RARER the item and its makeup, the more precious it is considered.

Solomon noted…
“There is gold and abundance of costly stones, but THE LIPS OF KNOWLEDGE ARE A PRECIOUS JEWEL.” ( Proverbs 20:15 ESV)

Wealth is possessed by many who have no grace in their hearts or on their lips. The RARE JEWEL in many conversations today is the graciousness that marks godly speech brought forth by godly wisdom. This RARE JEWEL is of greater value in the eyes of God than all the riches of the world and should be held as such by us in our own estimation of things. It comes naturally from a life that is rich toward God ( Luke 12:21); a life that will also be marked by a wealth of good works ( 1 Timothy 6:18) to His glory and praise. May this possession be one that we continue to highly prize and allow to adorn our daily life.

Have a great day BEJEWLED BY GODLY WISDOM!
Carl
