The "A" of ABC!
How’s your “A”? Is it a “BA” or a “CA”? What is “A”? “A” is for attitude. How is yours? Is it a “BA” (bad attitude) or is it a “CA” (Christ attitude)? Paul, in writing to the church at Philippi, encouraged:
“Your ATTITUDE should be the SAME AS that of CHRIST JESUS.” ( Philippians 2:5 NIV)
Paul stated this after warning against being driven by selfish ambition or self-interest. As we read through the verses that follow we find Paul’s description of how Christ took on the nature of a servant and, in humble submission to the will of the Father, gave Himself for us. The sacrifice He made was done with our interests in mind; the salvation of our souls. This is all part of the picture of the CHRIST ATTITUDE. Aren’t you glad He had it? Don’t you wish everybody did? Where I need to begin is with “me” and where you need to begin is with “you” to start taking on and modeling this beautiful attitude of servitude. This is the attitude that changes lives. This is the attitude that meets needs. And this is the attitude that glorifies God.
Have a great day “A”iming to “B”e “C”hrist-like!
