Just The Facts!
WHAT WE DON’T KNOW!
The exact date of Christ’s birth.
The exact location of the stable.
How many wise men came to visit.
WHAT WE DO KNOW!
Jesus was born in Bethlehem.
Jesus was born of the virgin Mary, having conceived by the Holy Spirit.
Jesus was born in a manger because there was no room at the inn.
Angels announced His birth as shepherds watched their sheep.
Shepherds visited Him.
Wise men later visited when Jesus was in a house, not a stable.
Gifts were brought, but not by Santa.
It was during the days of Caesar Augustus and the first census taken while Quirinius was governor of Syria.
King Herod was jealous to hear of another King.
All took place according to prophecy.
We are not expressly told in the Scriptures to celebrate His birth, but we are told to remember His death, burial, and resurrection. He had to live before He could die. But He lives still!
WHAT IS OF SIGNIFICANCE?
That Jesus was born? Yes, because it was all according to prophecy which confirms Who He is! To understand and accept the humanity of Jesus is as important as the acceptance of His Deity. ( John 1:1-2,14 and I John 4:2-3)
His purpose? Yes, this is of utmost importance ( I Corinthians 15:1-4). He came to seek and to save the lost, giving Himself for our sins.
His life is an example for us to follow.
Jesus is to be focused on every day of our lives, not just a couple times each year.
Jesus is not merely, as some say, “The Reason For The Season”, but rather
THE REASON
FOR LIFE!
Have a great life KEEPING HIM IN FOCUS!

Jesus said…
“…I came that they may have life and HAVE IT ABUNDANTLY.” ( John 10:10b ESV)
WHATEVER THE REASON
FOR THE SEASON WITH YOU
MAY JESUS BE THE REASON
FOR YOUR HOPE ALL YEAR THROUGH.
