Sweet Fulfillment!

“I love it when a plan comes together.” How sweet those words are to those who witness the DESIRED RESULTS of their planning and labor. Have we rejoiced over it happening? Have we experienced the joy? Though all our DESIRES may not be fulfilled, it is a great encouragement when they are.

Solomon stated…
“A DESIRE FULFILLED IS SWEET TO THE SOUL, but to turn away from evil is an abomination to fools.” ( Proverbs 13:19 ESV)

Oh, how sweet it is! Oh, how encouraging! Oh, how wonderful to know the effort was worthwhile. Oh, how sweet the satisfaction experienced deep within the soul when plans come together!

We may have many plans rolling around in our minds, but it is ultimately the purposes of God that will stand ( Proverbs 19:21) and what He wills is perfect and most beneficial. Oh, what rejoicing fills heaven each time HIS DESIRED results come together, especially with regard to the salvation of souls. (note John 15:7 & 10) This is God’s ultimate DESIRE and the reason for His present patience. ( 2 Peter 3:9). Through Christ -- the only means of salvation ( Acts 4:12) and access to the Father ( John 14:6) -- God set into motion the adequate means for bringing His plan together! May we retain a DESIRE to labor with Him as He continues to bring it to fulfillment one soul at a time.
