To Whom Are We Listening? (part 5 of 16)

Have you ever focused on a trial or affliction in such a way that you found yourself saying, “I can’t go on!”? Have you faced a challenge that caused you to feel life was just not worth the effort anymore? Listen to what God wants us to understand.

Paul accepted the answer he received and was encouraged by it.
“(7) So to keep me from being too elated by the surpassing greatness of the revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from being too elated. (8) Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. (9) But he said to me, ‘MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR YOU, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” ( 2 Corinthians 12:7-9 ESV)

Things may not always work out the way we desire them to. However, if we recognize we are receiving what is truly needed, let us focus on the SUFFICIENCY of that! Do we understand what God’s grace means? Do we realize where it places us? Do we see how far it will take us? It is the SUFFICIENCY OF GOD’S GRACE that will take us into eternity.

Have a great day encouraged by GOD’S SUFFICIENT GRACE!
