To Whom Are We Listening? (part 12 of 16)

What a scary world in which we live. However, is it really any different than it has ever been? Do you find yourself looking at various situations and circumstances and saying, “I’m afraid”? Fear can paralyze. Fear can restrict effectiveness. Fear can keep you from allowing God to work in and through your life.

God knows we cannot make it on our own. Therefore He wants us to keep our eyes on Him. The encouragement from God through Paul was:

“for God gave us A SPIRIT not of fear but OF POWER AND LOVE AND SELF-CONTROL.” ( 2 Timothy 1:7 ESV)

Let us continue to look to God for the POWER TO OVERCOME our timidity and fear in active service to His glory.
