Half Off?
We may love “Half Off” sales, as long as that relates to the price. Would we be willing to settle for half of the product missing, even if it was a discounted price? Perhaps it would depend on which half, though generally we would want the whole product we are purchasing because that is the way it was intended to be. Half does not necessarily work out to being half as good, but most often is of no value at all. This is no more true than when it comes to the need for TRUTHFUL SPEECH. It has been stated that the real danger when told a half truth is that we may believe the wrong half.
Paul urged…
“Therefore, HAVING PUT AWAY FALSEHOOD, LET EACH ONE OF YOU SPEAK THE TRUTH WITH HIS NEIGHBOR, for we are members one of another.” ( Ephesians 4:25 ESV)
Falsehood has no place in our Christian walk. Let us live to be known as people of our word so that when we speak others will know that they have been provided the WHOLE TRUTH and nothing but the TRUTH.
Have a great day BEING THE REAL DEAL!
Carl
