Personal Delivery!
There are a lot of ways to deliver messages to people today. We can use regular mail, airmail, special overnight delivery, e-mail, fax, text messaging, or even the method of personally handing our messages directly to another. Such means are used to deliver a variety of types of messages, some more important or serious than others. What kind of PERSONAL MESSAGE is our life delivering?
Writing to the church at Corinth, Paul stated…
“(2) YOU YOURSELVES ARE OUR LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION, written on our hearts, to be known and read by all. (3) And you show that you are A LETTER FROM CHRIST delivered by us, WRITTEN not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but ON TABLETS OF HUMAN HEARTS.” ( 2 Corinthians 3:2-3 ESV)
The lives of the Corinthians were to be a LETTER testifying to the work of Paul and the message of Christ they had received. How mindful are we of the PERSONAL MESSAGE our life is delivering as we go about our daily lives? Whether we are thinking about it or not, some kind of message is being delivered. Our lives are being read by those around us. Let us continually live mindful of the “personal delivery” being exemplified by our manner of living. May we strive to live a PERSONAL MESSAGE of righteousness others will find worth reading and taking to heart.
Have a great day LIVING THE MESSAGE OF CHRIST!
