Value Remains!

We live in a mixed up world. I heard someone recently state how TRUTH goes begging while lies go riding first class. Don’t we see that going on around us? We live in a day of liars. TRUTH is not valued as it ought. However, TRUTH still retains its value whether it is recognized or not and someday all will realize this TRUTH about TRUTH!

Someone has said, “Quality has everything in its favor including the price.” [source: “1600 Squibs And Quips”, compiled by E. C. McKenzie] TRUTH has quality which should never be underestimated.

Solomon urged…
“BUY TRUTH, and do not sell it; BUY WISDOM, INSTRUCTION, and UNDERSTANDING.” ( Proverbs 23:23 ESV)

TRUTH is worth whatever it takes to find it and retain it. It is not to be sold and yet some seem to sell out very cheaply. TRUTH is to be loved. TRUTH need not be feared when it is acknowledged and allowed to properly direct our lives.

Why is TRUTH to be valued in such a way? What is the greatest quality TRUTH has to offer? Jesus pointed out that TRUTH has the power to set us free! ( John 8:32) Jesus spoke that TRUTH to some who did not realize how enslaved they were and many remain in the same situation today because they refuse to recognize the value of TRUTH. Knowing the TRUTH about sin provides the opportunity to change our course in life and press on without regret. ( 2 Corinthians 7:10) Therefore we should rejoice in view of the TRUTH; the fact we are able to see it.

Jesus is the TRUTH! ( John 14:6) He came to reveal the TRUTH that can set us free. Because of the TRUTH we have been given the opportunity to go “first class” into the glory of our Lord. May we allow the TRUTH to continue to work in our favor.
