A Good Deal!

We like two for one sales or deals where if you buy two you get a third one free. Such is a good bargain, at least when the quality of the items is truly good.

Solomon encouraged…
“WHOEVER PURSUES RIGHTEOUSNESS AND KINDNESS WILL FIND LIFE, RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND HONOR.” ( Proverbs 21:21 ESV)

Pursue two and get three. In the pursuit of that which is right there is gained even greater blessing. To pursue righteousness is to find it. That would be in accordance with our Lord’s promise that “the one who seeks finds.” ( Matthew 7:8) To pursue kindness usually brings the kindness of others our way as well. However, Solomon mentioned life and honor as two other results of the pursuit of righteousness and kindness. Eternal life and honor are in a way the CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS or righteous living. The CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS is what Paul knew he would receive for having pursued the Will of God and he stated it would be received by all who loved the Lord’s appearing. (note 2 Timothy 4:6-8)

A two-fold pursuit with a three-fold blessing. Whenever it is something God offers we can always be assured it is a good deal!
