Remaining on the Trail!

When hiking it is important to choose the path carefully. Getting off the path may cause the hiker to become lost or bring him to dangerous areas such as the edge of a cliff. One may also find themselves entangled in thick brush. When walking through the woods I like to take the paths which keep me far away from things such as devil’s club, nettles, and sticker bushes. These can either cause pain or snag me, impeding my progress. The same is true in life.

Solomon stated…
“THORNS and SNARES are in the way of the crooked; WHOEVER GUARDS HIS SOUL WILL KEEP FAR FROM THEM.” ( Proverbs 22:5 ESV)

There are many things we should be mindful of keeping FAR FROM. By remaining in the Way of God we will be led around and AWAY FROM many of the things by which the world gets snagged. As we journey through life let us remain on guard lest we stray from the path God has laid out before us. May we continue to establish our route according to His Will.

Have a great day CHOOSING THE GOOD PATH!
Carl
