Well, I Declare! (part 5)

I am a firm believer in giving credit where credit is do. However, there are many who like to take the credit for the work of others or simply fail to attribute works to the rightful benefactor.

The Psalmist wrote:
“Since my youth, O God, you have taught me, and to this day I DECLARE YOUR MARVELOUS DEEDS.” ( Psalm 71:17 NIV)

We may love to talk about our works or the works of others, but how much time have we spent DECLARING the MARVELOUS WORKS of God? Do we attribute to God credit for His WORKS in Creation and in our own lives as well? Do we DECLARE the MARVELOUS changes He has brought about in our lives?

The Psalmist also wrote:
“Sing to the LORD a new song, for HE HAS DONE MARVELOUS THINGS; his right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him.” ( Psalm 98:1 NIV)

And Isaiah stated:
“O LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness YOU HAVE DONE MARVELOUS THINGS, things planned long ago.” ( Isaiah 25:1 NIV)

Think about the MARVELOUS DEEDS God has accomplished. Meditate on them.
Thank God and praise Him for them. May the DECLARATION of His DEEDS be on our lips. May the focus upon them put a song in our heart. With each day may we continue to DECLARE the deeds of God, for all His works on our behalf are simply MARVELOUS!

Have a great day acknowledging God’s MARVELOUS DEEDS!
Carl
