Well, I Declare! (part 3)
The Psalmist stated:
“I will DECLARE YOUR NAME to my brothers; in the congregation I will praise you.” ( Psalm 22:22 NIV)
When we love to talk about others (and I don’t mean gossiping) and use their NAME frequently in conversation, it reveals how much we think of them.
Frequent mentioning draws attention to how special that particular individual is to us.
How much do we talk about God? Is HIS NAME frequently on our lips? HIS NAME is to be valued above all! Is HIS NAME held with that view? Do others see in our life how the NAME OF GOD is held above all other authority or power?
As the NAME OF GOD comes from our lips, it should never be in a flippant way. Any time we speak the NAME OF GOD it should be with adoration, love, reverence and the acknowledgment of His position in our lives. The saying of HIS NAME ought to be as a DECLARATION of our first love! With a proper focus on Him, other relationships and aspects of life will fall into place.
Have a great day DECLARING GOD’S SPECIALNESS to your life!
Carl
