Well, I Declare! (part 2)
If the “heavens DECLARE the glory of God” ( Psalm 19:1) as we noted yesterday, should we, as a part of God’s Creation, not do the same?
The Psalmist believed we should.
“DECLARE HIS GLORY among the nations, His marvelous deeds among all peoples.” ( Psalm 96:3 NIV)
How do we declare God’s glory? The same way the rest of Creation does:
by fulfilling the purpose for which we were created! As we do His Will we reveal our Maker’s purpose in His design. He is glorified as that which He has made serves its intended purpose and usefulness.
As we are a part of His Creation we bear the mark of our Maker.
“And we, who with unveiled faces all REFLECT THE LORD’S GLORY, are being TRANSFORMED into his likeness with EVER-INCREASING GLORY, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” ( 2 Corinthians 3:18 NIV)
Our very existence is meant to bring glory to God! Is His glory being reflected in our daily lives? Is God’s glorious purpose made evident by the way we go out about each day the Lord provides? Paul encouraged:
“So whether you eat or drink or WHATEVER YOU DO, do it ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD.” ( I Corinthians 10:31 NIV)
Have a great day allowing your LIFE TO BE A DECLARATION of God’s glory!
