Pearls! (Part 1 of 7)

Pearls are found, each holding individual VALUE for their beauty, clarity, and size. Each pearl can be viewed as precious to behold and worthy of being possessed.

The Scriptures contain “pearl” after “pearl” of godly wisdom, encouragement, exhortation, and admonition. Each verse should be viewed as precious to behold and worthy of being possessed by the mind.

Jesus even referred to what one might do upon finding a pearl of great VALUE.
“(45) Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, (46) who, on finding ONE PEARL OF GREAT VALUE, went and SOLD ALL THAT HE HAD AND BOUGHT IT.” ( Matthew 13:45-46 ESV)

Here was one who recognized VALUE. Do we rightfully acknowledge the things of God as being of more VALUE than anything else we possess? What characterizes our search for that which has such VALUE?

Every verse of God’s Word holds VALUE to be recognized. I invite you to join me over the next few days in considering several “pearls” from the Psalms.

Have a great day APPRECIATING THE INESTIMABLE VALUE OF GOD’S WORD!
Carl
