Hand/Eye Coordination!

How is your hand/eye coordination? What is the connection between your VISION and the ACTIONS of your hands? What happens when your hands are involved in something, but you turn your eyes away from what you are doing? It is important to keep a proper connection between what we ENVISION and what we are DOING.

The statement has been made, “Vision without action is a daydream. Action without vision is a nightmare.” (Japanese Proverb)

This world is full of DREAMERS. However, there are also many who too hastily launch into ACTION, only to find themselves in the midst of a mess or perhaps even an actual scary situation. But what good are plans in the MIND without ACTION?

Solomon stated…
“DESIRE WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE IS NOT GOOD, and whoever makes haste with his feet misses his way.” ( Proverbs 19:2 ESV)

As we DREAM, let us do so with the bigness of our God in mind. But as we DREAM, let us be willing to let God use us in His work. May we have eager hands, focused eyes, and a heart devoted to the things of God that our life ACTION will be wholly coordinated with His desires and the opportunities to serve those around us.
