His Glory!

Solomon noted…
“In A MULTITUDE OF PEOPLE IS THE GLORY OF A KING, but without people a prince is ruined.” ( Proverbs 14:28 ESV)

We understand that picture with regard to kingdoms and governments of this world. Without subjects, in what is there for a king or a prince to find satisfaction? Without a nation of people where would be any acknowledgement of the position of such a one? But if this is where kings and princes of the world find glory, how much more so it is with the One Whose throne has been established forever. ( Hebrews 1:8)

Being a people who honor Christ the King, willing to serve Him as good citizens in His kingdom, and ready to eagerly follow His leadership; all that brings glory to Him and blessing to us. Recognizing our life and purpose for being is all about Him places us in a position where our Lord continues to receive the glory He is due.

Unlike the leaders of this world, our Lord will not be ruined by those who will not follow. His Sovereignty will not be diminished. Failure to follow will only bring ruin to those who refuse to acknowledge His position. However, those who continue to accept and follow under His leadership, He will eventually bring into His eternal glorious presence. May our life continually point to His Sovereignty.

Have a great day BEING BLESSED IN GLORIFYING OUR ETERNAL KING!
