His Credentials!

When someone is being considered for a job, credentials relating to the tasks to be performed are considered. If care is to be provided for children, past experience and credentials relating to child care are looked into. When someone is interviewed for offering home health care, credentials relating to those functions would be requested. And whatever the job, knowing that the one given it has the proper credentials offers the assurance of PEACE OF MIND when things are in their hands.

In the Psalms we read…
“(1) I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? (2) MY HELP COMES FROM THE LORD WHO MADE HEAVEN AND EARTH.” ( Psalm 121:1-2 ESV)

Do we keep God’s credentials in mind? Do we understand them enough that we can truly have PEACE OF MIND with our life entrusted to His care? The psalmist here in effect was pointing out… “If God (the Maker of heaven and earth) could do all that, what problem should He have caring for little old me? My help comes from Him!”

We trust people with lesser credentials than God’s. Let us learn to accept the PEACE OF MIND we can have in entrusting ourselves to His continuing care that includes a glorious deliverance into eternity.

Have a great day KNOWING GOD IS RIGHT FOR THE JOB!
